Holding my first personal surfboard shaped in a proper bay. My mentor at the time, Kevin, helped band the rails and the board became a quick favorite. It still sees waves from time to time but is now a few inches shorter after being run into the Imperial Beach pier. This outline is based off the SoCal rocket fish of the 80's.

Copied from a friends favorite board that he wanted to refine. Same dimensions as the original with slightly accentuated contours and tuned up rails. This one flies down the line in up to 6 foot surf and is fun in beach brakes.

This log was shaped while working at Chris Ruddy's factory in Ocean Beach. I would work from 10 - 6 pm and go for sunset surfs at the cliffs then come back to work on personals while no one was around. This board was a success and provided plenty of early roll ins that often ended with inside nose rides.
